DELIVERY DRIVER'S OF LOWE'S BE WARNED

I'm part of the delivery team at store 0529. We were just told that all Lowe's delivery is going 3rd party they gave us until April 16th then we will be spit within the store. So be warned if you work for delivery be worried for your position.

I was with ust , like xpo, they are the worst and did not pay right or at all. They lie and tell you whatever to get the job done. They also don't give a shit and load your truck up for a min of 14 hr shifts. Also if you don't finish in time you are penalized for every delivery not made. 50 bucks each. So they are in a win win at your expense.

Take this time if you don't already have a CDL to get one. I recommend class B as is much easier to get. That what I did last year after I got the lowes 3rd party treatment from my non cdl driver job. It'll take about a month total or less of your time to get a class B cdl and It'll change your life and offer you awesome job security for your future. FUCK LOWES. As someone who moved stores that had their own in-house delivery in KY to a store with 3rd party delivery. Let me tell you, 3rd party is GARBAGE!!!! I miss my old delivery guys every single day I have to deal with delivery issues. From drunk delivery guys, damaged products, not even delivering product, it is a nightmare!!

when I started there we were already 3rd party for the box trucks but still had our own flatbed guys. The differences were rather obvious. Our guys were directly responsible to the store if they fucked up. Then they went 3rd party too and we sold our flatbed to the 3rd party guys. 3rd party damaged things I built to be delivered, then I became responsible for pulling deliveries and got to see things from the delivery coordinator's perspective and yeah it's ridiculous. The delivery coordinator DOES NOT have direct communication with the drivers. All you need to know, it's a mess, BUT as many Lowe's managers have told me, they save so much money and that's all Marvin cares about (although this has been a thing since before he came here)

Also as an independent contractor I know for a fact the flat beds drivers are going away as well.

3PL piss jars in the trash at te end of every route. I worked for Spirit, an absolute nightmare of a 3PL out of New Jersey.
